Interior/Exterior
You'll find a lot of space in the cabin of the 4Runner. There's ample legroom in the second row, and you can fit two extra passengers in the third row. Whenever you need to hold larger items, strap them on top using the available roof rails or fold down the seats to maximize storage.
Technology
All models of the new 4Runner have been built with a comprehensive suite of driver-assist features. You'll have peace of mind knowing that your SUV will warn you about potential problems and can even take measures to avoid accidents. Plus, you'll stay entertained and connected to the network, thanks to the infotainment system in the SUV. An eight-inch touchscreen, which comes with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, is standard, and built-in navigation included on the higher trims.
Performance
The Toyota
4 runner is powered by a 4.0-liter V-6 engine making a stout 270 horsepower and
278 pound-feet of torque. Most examples deliver power to the rear wheels via a
five-speed automatic transmission. However, if you're seeking more surefooted
handling and inclement-weather control for your Peru, IN, commute, four-wheel
drive comes standard on TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro trim levels and is available
to all other tiers.
For the
most capable from-the-factory 4Runner experience, the Toyota Racing Development
team enhanced the SUV's already considerable capability with terrain-tackling
upgrades like TRD-engineered FOX® high-performance shocks, a thick aluminum skid
plate, and flow-form alloy wheels wrapped in Nitto® Terra Grappler® all-terrain
rubber.
