New Toyota Tundra in Kokomo, IN
After a complete redesign and more than 10 years on the market, the Toyota Tundra now has a competitive advantage in the half-ton segment. The Toyota Tundra is the only full-size pickup truck with a powertrain lineup without a V8 engine. The maximum output for each variant of the twin-turbocharged V6 engine in the base model is 379 horsepower. However, customers do have the option of a powerful hybridized trim with 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque.
Trim Levels
The Toyota Tundra is a four-door pickup truck with seven trim levels available: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, and Capstone. The first five trim levels receive power from a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine coupled with a four-wheel drive system and a 10-speed automatic transmission. If you upgrade to the TRD Pro and Capstone, a battery-electric hybrid powertrain is accessible on the 1794 Edition, Limited, and Platinum models.
